Let Me Introduce Myself

Hi there! My name is Jasper, and I’d like to welcome you to our motel.

If you haven’t met me yet, I’m a Catahoula Leopard/Lab shelter dog who came up north from down south to rescue my parents.  I take excellent care of them so they can take excellent care of you, our guests.

I take them for long walks, so they get lots of exercise, and I let them introduce me to everyone whenever possible.  I am secretly checking everyone out for contraband cookies which, by the way, should all be sent through me for approval.

At the end of the day I even snuggle with them so they know how much they are loved.

I’m also the property manager here. No, I don’t take care of your rooms, but I oversee things for my mom and dad. I sniff out any stray footprints in the snow. I think I do a really great job because even though there are footprints I never actually see these intruders, so they must know I’m on the job and leave the property right away.

If you ever want to see these tracks you can always take a walk out back along our Woodland Path and see them for yourselves. My mom says we have deer, foxes and my all-time favorite smell – the bunnies. Right now, our path is still decorated and called The Christmas Path. Mom says it’s so people can take a nice walk or snowshoe along the trail and enjoy the pretty things. I will admit, I like the way some of them sparkle at me.

Anyways, please feel free to ask for me if you come visit. I always like to say hello. You can also follow my adventures on something called Instagram. Not exactly sure what that is, but my mom is always pointing her phone at me and saying it’s for Instagram.
