Summer Fun
This summer has already begun as hot and humid, but up here in the White Mountains you still get a chance to cool off.
With so many summer activities, it may be hard to choose the ones that you’ll want to fit into your schedule. We suggest that you do a little research ahead of time, otherwise you may find yourself a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of activities available.
Some of our top recommendations include hiking, golf, horseback riding, biking, kayaking, swimming, ziplining and river hanging (yes, it’s a real thing!)
Attractions – Again, so many to choose from!
For relaxing and scenic there are the following activities – The Cog Railway, Conway Scenic Railroad, Granite State Railroad, Bretton Woods Skyway Gondola, Cannon Mountain Aerial Tram and the Mount Washington Auto Road.
Looking for the littles? We have Santa’s Village, Clark’s Bears, Whale’s Tale Water Park, Storyland and the Living Shores Aquarium.
Want a little more adventurous activity?  Check out the Lost River Gorge, Flume Gorge, Polar Caves, Alpine Adventures, Loon Mountain Resort, Bretton Woods Canopy Tour and the Cranmore Mountain Resort.
On the occasion when the weather isn’t co-operating, many of these attractions can still be enjoyed, but we also have so many great little shops and restaurants in the White Mountains.
Spend an afternoon exploring one of our charming little towns – Bethlehem, Lancaster, Lincoln, Littleton and North Conway just to name a few.
You can always check out visitnh.gov and visitwhitemountains.com for special events and activities going on in the area.  One of my favorites is the Vintage Market in the Mountains at the Wayside Inn in Bethlehem. This year it takes place on July 19th and 20th.
Have a fabulous summer everyone!
